This remarkable exhibition comprehensively encompasses nearly 100 masterpieces of the Yuan blue-and-white wares from almost 40 museums and archaeological institutes in Turkey, Iran, U.K., U.S.A., Japan, Russia and China, etc. Among the exhibits, the overseas loans basically take their first trip to China and some local pieces are displayed to the public for the first time as well.
“Yuan BW Porcelain” was recommended by ifanr as beautifully represented ancient Chinese culture in digital world, and been reposted a lot by other media like Toutiao.
As an extended presence in a digital world of the exhibition, we designed & developed the “Yuan BW Porcelain” iPad App that features 30+ selected Porcelain paintings and an interactive AR Game. Different with the traditional way of doing an exhibiton app, which just making exhibit photography into photo albums, we came out with the idea that using Chinese painting for the entire app imagery assets and also made them work well with the interactivity of touch screen.
